New Plymouth - Composite

After a year, I finally got around to trying to recover the RAW files needed to assemble this image. There was a lot of drama about this collection following the trip: first I was obsessed with my wildlife images and neglected this set. Then couldn't get Photoshop to stitch this collection on its own, and I decided to put it back on the shelf for a while. When I picked this project up again, I found that some of the files had become corrupted and now the panorama was lacking large sections of data.
Recently I finally decided to manually assemble the remaining files in to one massive image (8GB even with sections missing). This limited my ability to compose a final crop, but I settled on a composition and began working to "generate" the missing pixels. The resized, massive image below is about 2/3 through the rebuilding process.
