Crystal's WRX
SEATTLE, WA - Crystal and I hang with a lot of the same people in the small worlds of Seattle photographers and car enthusiasts. But we had not met until this shoot. Crystal has an amazing portfolio of local motorsports, but specializes in child and infant photography. Check out her Flickr! However this time around, she was looking for automotive portraits for her sponsorships next year and kindly allowed me to have a try. (Yes, she shoots AND drives cars really well. Can you tell I’m jealous?)
This brings us to the star: a 2015 Crystal White Pearl Subaru WRX. Crystal has put a lot of time, money, and care into outfitting this car specifically for SCCA autocross and street tire class events. All her mods are purposeful: from the suspension and OMP bucket seats to the spare set of red Enkei RPF1s with summer compounds in the trunk! This car is a true weekend warrior and a regular at track days around Western Washington.
