Jesse's GTI - BTS
Baton Rouge, LA - One of the first car people I met when moving to Louisiana was Jesse Townsend. He was super welcoming and happy to recommend plenty of hangouts and restaurants while we were getting settled in. He’s also one of my links to to the growing euro and JDM scenes. In the land of big V8s, sedans and lifted trucks, his low key Golf GTI is kind of rare.
After showing me one of the popular new ramen spots in town, I shot a couple composites for him and his fresh new set of Rotiform RSE. It’s such a clean and lowkey combo that I’m sure the average person wouldn’t even notice in a parking lot. But those who know, know. The subtle drop on H&R springs along with a close to OEM fitment doesn’t scream for attention and looks crisp and intentional.
