Rösch Bakehaus - Galette
BATON ROUGE, LA - Sara brought home a gorgeous citrus and cardamom galette from Rösch Bakehaus in downtown Baton Rouge yesterday. It seemed only appropriate to document their fine work before the galette was quartered and consumed. We had a lot of fun gathering ingredients and tools we envisioned being used to craft this pastry, to build a scene.
After arranging the composition, we chose to use natural morning light for the scene rather than a strobe source. We really liked the long shadows with just a reflector to provide fill light to the foreground details.
