Tahuya State Forest, WA - Back in December of 2018, AVANTS launched its Off-Road group with a inaugural trip to Tahuya, a popular natural area with established single track routes within an off-road park. Branden Powell is one of the founding organizers at AVANTS Off-Road and the builder of an incredible 1972 Pinzgauer: an Austrian-built softtop troop carrier. Today, the SARPinz supports King County Search and Rescue excursions.
In the past three years, AVANTS has expanded from Seattle to Portland and Denver, and the Off-Road component is as popular as ever. On this 3rd anniversary (almost to the day) Branden’s SARPinz was featured in Beyond Boundaries e-magazine, and our water fording photo was picked for this edition’s cover.
