CAMANO ISLAND, WA - For those who don’t know, i also shoot portraits, events and weddings from time to time. Most recently, I did outdoor portraits for a coworker’s kids. We used 3 different locations near their home on Camano Island, and used a combination of natural light with a single reflector, and an octagonal softbox with a Flashpoint wireless strobe. I was really impressed with the ease of use and the illumination i was able to get out of the cheap and tiny lithium powered hot shoe light. All images were shot with Sony’s A7ii and 70-200 F4.
