Nathanael's 1933 Woody

Nathanael's 1933 Woody

SEATTLE, WA - I met up with fellow UW Industrial Design grad Nathanael and his 1933 Ford at 5AM to catch sunrise over Lake Washington. With the sun just coming up over Beacon Hill, we had a spectacular view with plenty of fog sitting over Seward Park and Mercer Island in the background.

The project belonged to Nathanael’s father-in-law originally, and was completed over in Spokane in 2018. This 1933 Ford woody resto-mod powered by a ford 302 V8 that’s linked to a C6 automatic transition. The suspension’s 4 inch drop gives it a angled hot rod inspired stance, while not being overly aggressive. Staying accurate to the original design was a priority for this project, and the all steel body and cab structure are the original. Even the choices for paint, woodwork, and upholstery attempt to stay true to its heritage.
